• Prepare a case

Removing the side panels for seeing the case’s  internal frame. Once it is out of the box, you will find a small box or bag of screws inside, which you will need for later installation. Place the screws aside.

Once the motherboard is installed, open the cables which are back of the case to loose and ready to go. Install the correct number of screws based on the motherboard’s form factor.

• Install Fans

Now it’s time to install the fans. When installing a fan, you’ll see an arrow showing how the air will move. You can arrange the hands following your preference for push/pull configuration. The fan can be secured by using the included screws. A fan header will be located near the rear fan when wiring the motherboard.

• Install the RAM

An essential part of a gaming PC is the RAM of the computer. As it is pretty expensive, the user has to take care of it properly. The user can install the built-in memory on their gaming PC and use it whenever they want to play games.

When you have shut down your computer, remove all the cable connections. After that, you can access the motherboard by removing the side of the computer case.

In front of the CPU socket, there are RAM slots. You’ll see either two or four memory slots next to the large heat sink at the top of the motherboard.

As you pull out the old RAM, you’ll need to move the plastic retention clips on either side of the memory slots.

• Install the CPU Cooler

When you buy a CPU cooler, you should apply thermal paste if it does not come with any already used. In the middle of the CPU, apply a small blob about the size of a half-pea. Once the cooler is mounted, this material will spread out and offer a sufficient amount of heat transfer to the cooler of your choice.

• Install the Motherboard

The cutout at the case’s back is where you need to clip your I/O panel before integrating a MOBO in the system.

Place the motherboard on the case thereby the input and output connections connect through this shield. Now, the MOBO should be aligned and integrated the way described in the manuals.

• Install Storage (SSD/HDD)

Your storage device should be lined up after you remove the tray. As you want your cables to run through the back panel, you will orient the device with the SATA connectors facing that panel. Screw the tray into place and slide it back into the drive once aligned.

Until the storage device is connected into the board’s back, you can insert the SATA cable as well given in your MOBO’s box. You should consider the instructions given in the manual of the motherboard to make sure you are going right or not. Correct the SATA port if needed, but ensure the boot device is in SATA1.

• Install the Graphics Card (GPU)

The vital thing to consider while building a gaming pc is to choose the right graphics card. To plug in an HDMI or DisplayPort cable, remove the back metal covers on the expansion slots.

The GPU will fit into the PCIe slot on your motherboard, so push down on the retention clip and slide it in until it clicks into place. Secure it with a screw after it has clicked into place.

• Installing Windows

Install Windows 10 onto a USB drive with at least 8GB of space after downloading the operating system.

You can then plug it into your new system once it’s finished. In your BIOS, select the USB stick as the first boot device. You can then install your new operating system by going through the prompts.
