Go Yoo-jung will replace Jung So-min in Alchemy of Souls Season 2.Truth About the female lead’s role changes in the second season of Alchemy of Souls in relation to Go Yoon Jung.
“Alchemy of Souls,” a new fantasy romantic drama on tvN, was written by the well-known screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters. The tale takes place in the fictitious nation of Daeho, which is not real nor depicted on any maps or historical documents. The plot of the play follows a cast of characters whose destinies are altered as a result of the use of magic that rewrites people’s souls.
Go Yoon Jung plays the role of Nak Soo in the drama, whose spirit unexpectedly awakens in the body of Mu Deok, who is portrayed by Jung So Min.
On July 12, a news source announced that filming for the second installment of “Alchemy of Souls” had begun and that Go Yoon Jung had been cast in the role of the female protagonist. They went on to say that the second part will consist of ten episodes and that all of the other cast members will appear in it playing the same roles as they did in the first portion.
During an earlier press conference for the drama, the director Park Joon Hwa mentioned that they are currently filming Part 2 because they are unable to include everything in the original 20 episodes of the drama.
A source close to “Alchemy of Souls” responded to the reports by saying, “It is impossible to confirm the details linked to Part 2 because it can be a spoiler for Part 1 which is presently being aired.”
The management company for Jung So Min, Blossom Entertainment, made the following statement: “We ask for your understanding because we aren’t allowed to inform you whether or not she will be in Part 2 because doing so could reveal important details about Part 1.” The representation agency MMA for Go Yoon Jung echoed the same position.
tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls” addresses the reports that the female lead role will be recast with Go Yoon Jung instead of Jung So Min in Part 2 of the drama.
tvN refuted persistent allegations on the 12th of July that the female lead role in the drama series “Alchemy of Souls” would be recast with Go Yoon Jung instead of Jung So Min in the upcoming second instalment of the series.
One news source announced earlier this week that production on the second instalment of “Alchemy of Souls” had started, and that Go Yoon Jung will play the role of the female protagonist. According to the publication, Jung So Min, who plays the female protagonist in Part 1, had initially only agreed to participate in the first instalment of the series when she signed her contract. Part 2 will feature continued appearances from a variety of important characters, including Lee Jae Wook, Yoo Joon Sang, and others.
“Any details regarding Part 2 cannot be disclosed at this time because they may act as a spoiler for Part 1 which is still airing,” was the curt response that was given by tvN.
The director Park Jun Hwa had previously stated that ‘Alchemy of Souls’ will be split into two parts before it was broadcast. The conclusion of Part 1 is expected to take place later on in this month, but the showing date for Part 2 has not yet been determined.
